Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Costante Arzallos made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the match, CD Simbalo's goal looked a bit too open when Costante Arzallos came free, but Xurxo Basabe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter Dorronsoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carcelén Gacel having to interfere. Shugal SC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Peter Dorronsoro 14 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 25th minute, Zavier Alicea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CD Simbalo's Xurxo Basabe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costante Arzallos in the 30th minute of play. After 31 played minutes CD Simbalo got a freekick which was hit by Joel Campelo. Xurxo Basabe came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Shugal SC's Francisco Palermo. But to his dismay, Francisco Palermo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Costante Arzallos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Xurxo Basabe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Peter Dorronsoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Dorronsoro in the 44th minute of play forced Shugal SC's goalkeeper Carcelén Gacel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zavier Alicea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Carcelén Gacel made a huge save. After 47 minutes, Javier Alebio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shugal SC and the CD Simbalo players grew even worse after the yellow card. CD Simbalo's Felix Galarreta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carcelén Gacel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Dorronsoro made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in CD Simbalo's zone, Francisco Palermo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xurxo Basabe came out of the goal and Francisco Palermo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xacintu Obregon during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to CD Simbalo getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Xacintu Obregon hit a great ball. If Costante Arzallos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xurxo Basabe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costante Arzallos in the 61st minute of the match. Carcelén Gacel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Dorronsoro in the 69th minute of play. Carcelén Gacel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zavier Alicea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute Peter Dorronsoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carcelén Gacel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Francisco Palermo came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Shugal SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Palermo couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, CD Simbalo's Xurxo Basabe got control of the ball when Francisco Palermo tried to sneak it across the goal line. During the 86th minute of the match Javier Alebio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Javier Alebio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 87th match minute, Shugal SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Alebio to maneuver through the defense. Costante Arzallos hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Peter Dorronsoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
