Shugal SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blanco Temiño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Palermo might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Toranzo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Palermo ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costante Arzallos in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Toranzo saved Chaya from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costante Arzallos in the 9th minute of play forced Chaya's goalkeeper Fernando Toranzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mendoza Rebolloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Chaya's goalkeeper Fernando Toranzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Palermo. If Paredes Morell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 minutes, Javier Alebio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shugal SC and the Chaya players grew even worse after the yellow card. Javier Alebio kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Paredes Morell scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carcelén Gacel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fernando Toranzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costante Arzallos in the 23rd minute of the match. Costante Arzallos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Toranzo having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Mendoza Rebolloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mendoza Rebolloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Carcelén Gacel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chaya's Fernando Toranzo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Chaya from getting a goal against them. Fernando Toranzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costante Arzallos in the 42nd minute of play. Mendoza Rebolloso struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Carcelén Gacel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chaya. The Shugal SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chaya were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Costante Arzallos was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Mendoza Rebolloso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chaya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mendoza Rebolloso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute of the game, Uriel Rodas landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Javier Alebio got his second yellow card in the match during the 54th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Javier Alebio hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Paredes Morell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Francisco Palermo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Shugal SC's zone, Paredes Morell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carcelén Gacel came out of the goal and Paredes Morell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Azpeitia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carcelén Gacel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Francisco Palermo took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Toranzo. Fernando Toranzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Paredes Morell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carcelén Gacel having to interfere. Fernando Toranzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Palermo in the 83rd minute of play. The Chaya players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
