Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Xencio Diosdado got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Cevallos Valli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victor Celis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UD Pichangal's Reyes Ubilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save UD Pichangal from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, UD Pichangal's Iachetti Hornos got a free kick in the 28th minute. Cevallos Valli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Vidal Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the game, Cevallos Valli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mario Poo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reyes Ubilla was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Xencio Diosdado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Xencio Diosdado really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 47th minute Cevallos Valli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Poo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vidal Morais to make the kick off. The supporters of UD Pichangal booed when Muey SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Villayres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vidal Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Poo having to interfere. Vidal Morais's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Mario Poo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Vidal Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Xencio Diosdado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muey SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xencio Diosdado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reyes Ubilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Muey SC booed when UD Pichangal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Villatoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 minutes, Xencio Diosdado made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. UD Pichangal's Reyes Ubilla tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Azconzábal Medrano kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Cevallos Valli managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Pichangal's supporters rose to their feet, but Cevallos Valli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Poo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the game, Cevallos Valli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Mario Poo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 85 minutes into the game, Xencio Diosdado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Reyes Ubilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reyes Ubilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Villayres in the 94th minute of the match. Xencio Diosdado might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reyes Ubilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xencio Diosdado ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Muey SC fans cheered their team off the field, for while UD Pichangal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
