Ovando Arbe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hector Escapa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Valentin's Díaz Tabliega nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Díaz Tabliega's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Walter Azpiroz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 25th minute Ovando Arbe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Escapa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Díaz Tabliega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Azpiroz having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Corozo Elicegui in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hector Escapa saved Valentin from getting behind. Corozo Elicegui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sumo FC were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Valentin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pablo Puentes took the corner.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guagua Lizaur to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute Guagua Lizaur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Azpiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Díaz Tabliega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Díaz Tabliega in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Azpiroz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Díaz Tabliega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guagua Lizaur hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Corozo Elicegui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Díaz Tabliega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guagua Lizaur scored 2-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walter Azpiroz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Díaz Tabliega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovando Arbe struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Hector Escapa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sumo FC.
