Hector Escapa was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Bolívar Haces capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bolívar Haces really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. 39 minutes into the match, Valentin's goal looked a bit too open when Xeromo Loizaga came free, but Hector Escapa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guagua Lizaur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. No goal. 98 minutes into the match, CD Atobuela's goalkeeper Figueroa Nogal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Díaz Tabliega. CD Atobuela were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Valentin for a fine match.
