Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bohórquez Celaya started the match with the kick off. Bohórquez Celaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xever Carneiro having to interfere. Xever Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bohórquez Celaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergio Arana kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Paluguillo's Igor Naredo got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Igor Naredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to UD Machay getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Eduardo Urriola hit a great ball. Matamba Pabon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Naredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Ovando Seral managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Machay's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovando Seral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xever Carneiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xever Carneiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bohórquez Celaya showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. Bohórquez Celaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Xever Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Merayo scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matamba Pabon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute, Richard Lordaliego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. UD Machay's Matamba Pabon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Naredo in the 38th minute of play. Igor Naredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gómez Pedraza's late challenge caught a Paluguillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gómez Pedraza helped the player get up and apologised. UD Machay's Matamba Pabon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rios Yanez in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Rios Yanez made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Igor Naredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matamba Pabon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rios Yanez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of UD Machay booed when Paluguillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Merayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Unax Camara during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, one of UD Machay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for UD Machay. Richard Lordaliego hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Urdaspal Sobrevilla was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Matamba Pabon made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Igor Naredo sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes into the game, Marlon Villalon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paluguillo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Machay the free kick. In the 89th match minute, Paluguillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marlon Villalon to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bohórquez Celaya in the 90th minute of play forced Paluguillo's goalkeeper Xever Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Paluguillo defense, Bohórquez Celaya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xever Carneiro. The Paluguillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xever Carneiro should have stopped the shot. Xever Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovando Seral, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
