Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pio Villapun got the match started through his kick off. Roberto Argandona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pio Villapun in the 3rd minute of play. Luciano Cotillos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xurde Llordes having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Cotillos got free with Xurde Llordes in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xurde Llordes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Hiriart in the 16th minute of play. Cesar Jetino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Roberto Argandona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Cesar Jetino made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Argandona. CD Esperanza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Luciano Cotillos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xurde Llordes having to make a save. George Hiriart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Xurde Llordes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, CD Esperanza's George Hiriart sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xurde Llordes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After recieving a nice pass, CD Esperanza's José-Francisco Irulegui tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After the first half Cevallos SC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and George Hiriart made a kick off. Cevallos SC's Xurde Llordes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Hiriart in the 52nd minute of play. Pio Villapun succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Cevallos SC's Cesar Jetino got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xzavier Gatica during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Teofilo Castelo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Xurde Llordes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of George Hiriart's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute George Hiriart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xurde Llordes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Cevallos SC's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Cotillos came free, but Xurde Llordes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Luciano Cotillos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xurde Llordes was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Luciano Cotillos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xurde Llordes having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Pio Villapun took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Roberto Argandona to make any attempt to save it. Cevallos SC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
