The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Cola's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Berar came free, but Xavieon Viñales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. German Mañe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xzavion Blasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cola's Barros Janez got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rosario Huemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xavieon Viñales stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rosario Huemen's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Alex Berar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alex Berar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavieon Viñales having to interfere. Kaviedes Pumeral took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Xavieon Viñales. Cola's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If German Mañe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cola booed when UD Yapi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urrutia Camazon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jose-Antonio Guedella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Mañe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Coronel Molina during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes UD Yapi got a freekick which was hit by Coronel Molina. Cola's Hurtado Olloqui was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jose-Antonio Guedella in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alex Berar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cola's Xavieon Viñales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urrutia Camazon in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 57 minutes, German Mañe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cola's supporters crossed their fingers, but German Mañe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jose-Antonio Guedella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barros Janez in the 58th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes UD Yapi got a freekick which was hit by Coronel Molina. After some careless play in the Cola defense, Alex Berar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xavieon Viñales. The Cola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xavieon Viñales should have stopped the shot. Alex Berar scored 2-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xavieon Viñales, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Cola's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Berar came free, but Xavieon Viñales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xavieon Viñales stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Berar's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Cola's goal looked a bit too open when Rosario Huemen came free, but Xavieon Viñales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cola players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for UD Yapi.
