Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tonio Ciaran took the kick off in the first half of the match. Xose Matias charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xose Matias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fricson Gañona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Vascones in the 8th minute of play. Amador Aguiriano kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Fricson Gañona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Vascones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Zapata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victorino Mallen having to make a save. Bruno Lacalle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Vascones in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fricson Gañona prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Tonio Ciaran came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Patatena SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tonio Ciaran couldn't finish the play. Bruno Lacalle scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fricson Gañona, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruno Lacalle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Fricson Gañona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Adolfo Vascones made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in CD Remolino's zone, Manuel Zapata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorino Mallen came out of the goal and Manuel Zapata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Graziani Merayo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Manuel Zapata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Mallen having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Zapata in the 63rd minute of play forced CD Remolino's goalkeeper Victorino Mallen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to CD Remolino getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Xose Matias hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, CD Remolino's Romeo Bustamante broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 86th minute of the match, Bruno Lacalle got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fricson Gañona was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CD Remolino walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
