Romeo Ozollo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. López Villacanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Belaunde in the 18th minute of play forced Wakanteis SC's goalkeeper Veto Tofiño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Romo Tresgallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Ruich struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. López Villacanes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wakanteis SC. 31 minutes into the match, Wakanteis SC's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Belaunde came free, but Veto Tofiño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. López Villacanes made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Lucas Ruich sent off a good shot on target. Sergio Belaunde scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Veto Tofiño, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute Romeo Ozollo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but López Villacanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Tullapamba SC's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Ozollo came free, but López Villacanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romeo Ozollo to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romo Tresgallo got free with Veto Tofiño in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Romo Tresgallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergio Belaunde struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Lucas Ruich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wakanteis SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Ruich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. López Villacanes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute, Cántaro Angeriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. López Villacanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Ozollo in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tullapamba SC's zone, Lucas Ruich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. López Villacanes came out of the goal and Lucas Ruich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Belaunde in the 78th minute of play forced Wakanteis SC's goalkeeper Veto Tofiño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romo Tresgallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Veto Tofiño read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Romeo Ozollo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tullapamba SC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
