Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Monchuca booed when Pomasqui FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angulo Orozco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 played minutes Pomasqui FC got a freekick which was hit by Zorion Uriondo. Félix Arrueta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vennancio Morelo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Pomasqui FC's Leon Resamano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vimaro Pipa in the 16th minute of play. Leon Resamano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Camba in the 23rd minute of play. Leon Resamano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Camba went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Parisi Echaez came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Pomasqui FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Parisi Echaez couldn't finish the play. After having played for 36 minutes, Parisi Echaez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pomasqui FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Parisi Echaez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vennancio Morelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Félix Arrueta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vennancio Morelo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
