When UD Cananvalle's Zorion Nalda in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. René Varo. fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tercero Davalillo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zorion Nalda in the 36th minute of play forced Barbascal FC's goalkeeper Ledesma Valiño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tercero Davalillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by René Varo. in the 38th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in UD Cananvalle fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 48th minute. Penalty! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Estevez Echavarria to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Barbascal FC's Raul Rosete got a free kick in the 55th minute. Ledesma Valiño made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zorion Nalda in the 56th minute. 62 minutes into the match, UD Cananvalle's goal looked a bit too open when Graziani Descalzo came free, but Tercero Davalillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graziani Descalzo in the 88th minute of play forced UD Cananvalle's goalkeeper Tercero Davalillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ledesma Valiño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Estevez Echavarria in the 91st minute of the match. If Zorion Nalda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. UD Cananvalle's Estevez Echavarria got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
