Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Agustin Rionda took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Paltas SC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Rionda came free, but Patricio Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zelipe Risel's late challenge caught a Paltas SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zelipe Risel helped the player get up and apologised. Marco Boo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Patricio Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Rionda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th match minute, UD Verno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zelipe Risel to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute of the match Zayvius Sal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mane Villafuentes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. UD Verno's Marco Boo got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 17 minutes, Agustin Rionda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Verno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustin Rionda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Paltas SC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Lucas Juaristi hit a great ball. In the 19th minute of the match Igor Paz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patricio Matos skillfully saved the ball. Marco Boo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Patricio Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danilo Sobaler got free with Mane Villafuentes in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Cerdeño in the 28th minute of play forced UD Verno's goalkeeper Mane Villafuentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Boo in the 29th minute of play. Lucas Juaristi kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute of the match Igor Paz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patricio Matos skillfully saved the ball. Mane Villafuentes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Cerdeño in the 36th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Edmundo Cerdeño reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mane Villafuentes. The goal made the score 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Cerdeño stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Paltas SC's zone, Marco Boo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Matos came out of the goal and Marco Boo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramírez Herdozain kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, UD Verno's Igor Paz tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Marco Boo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Danilo Sobaler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustin Rionda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Matos having to interfere. Marco Boo struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Patricio Matos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Verno. Paltas SC were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after UD Verno's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zayvius Sal took the corner. In the 80th minute Jimmy Crespin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 83 minutes, Edmundo Cerdeño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paltas SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Cerdeño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Danilo Sobaler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paltas SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Danilo Sobaler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mane Villafuentes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mane Villafuentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Cerdeño in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Sobaler in the 92nd minute of play forced UD Verno's goalkeeper Mane Villafuentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Juaristi hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Patricio Matos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 96th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Igor Paz. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
