The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the game, Urtzi Cortes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yuracruz FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dandan the free kick. A collision led to Yuracruz FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Urtzi Cortes hit a great ball. Yuracruz FC's Elias Gacel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Yuracruz FC from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dandan's goalkeeper Javier Alcala, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Yambay Riego left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yuracruz FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Javier Alcala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yambay Riego in the 69th minute of play. Yambay Riego received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Alcala prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 95 minutes, Fabian Bernedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dandan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Bernedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yuracruz FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
