The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Yanusacha SC booed when CD Paredones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeru Villota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmundo Secadura struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Uhin Monterinos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yanusacha SC. If Orlando Arandojo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando Arandojo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uhin Monterinos having to interfere. After 16 played minutes CD Paredones got a freekick which was hit by Zeru Villota. Uhin Monterinos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Arandojo in the 19th minute of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Martin Amocia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Paredones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Amocia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Pardelas during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Yanusacha SC's Hector Arraña couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 26th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CD Paredones. Uhin Monterinos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Secadura in the 28th minute of the match. In the 36th play minute Ramon Olivera came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vernaza Sigüenza. 1-1. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Secadura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uhin Monterinos was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Orlando Arandojo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orlando Arandojo made a kick off. Simon Pardelas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Simon Pardelas was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to CD Paredones getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Simon Pardelas hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Edmundo Secadura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yanusacha SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Secadura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uhin Monterinos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Orlando Arandojo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmundo Secadura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ramon Olivera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vernaza Sigüenza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Olivera in the 88th minute of the match. Edmundo Secadura struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Uhin Monterinos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yanusacha SC.
