In the 4thth minute of the game Villafuerte Guillarte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Javiera's Julian Mareide was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 6 minutes, Isaias Cardona mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tunshi and the Javiera players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Isaias Cardona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute Villafuerte Guillarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Mareide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walter Uriona hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute of the match Hector Sovera shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julian Mareide showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 15th minute, Villafuerte Guillarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julian Mareide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Neira in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Javiera's goalkeeper Julian Mareide, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marques Azcaraso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julian Mareide. Javiera's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Erick Verdes's late challenge caught a Javiera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erick Verdes helped the player get up and apologised. Joffre Guais was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Sergio Abaurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erick Verdes kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute of the match, Henry Cintron tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jeremias Capa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 42nd minute Henry Cintron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Capa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes Tunshi got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Alvadalejo. 45 minutes into the match, Tunshi's goalkeeper Jeremias Capa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergio Abaurre. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Roger Neira made the kick off in the second half. Sergio Abaurre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jeremias Capa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Sergio Abaurre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Javiera's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Abaurre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Capa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yader Cereijais blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremias Capa having to make a save. The supporters of Javiera booed when Tunshi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Villafuerte Guillarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergio Abaurre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jeremias Capa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sergio Abaurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Capa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Cintron, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Henry Cintron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Capa having to interfere.
