After recieving a nice pass, Sabiango FC's Arlín Yurre tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the game, Walter Gaitan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sabiango FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Posito FC the free kick. A collision led to Sabiango FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Walter Gaitan hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Reynaldo Suero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute of the match, Alejandro Cevallo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Borja Illera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alejandro Cevallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejandro Cevallo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Borja Illera came out and tried to block the shot, but Alejandro Cevallo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 25th minute. Posito FC's Flavio Garray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitor Agado in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Arboleda Urdaneta made a precise shot to the right of Flavio Garray. Posito FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 33 played minutes Sabiango FC got a freekick which was hit by Elvis Guibar. Walter Gaitan kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Flavio Garray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arboleda Urdaneta in the 49th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Alejandro Cevallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borja Illera having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sabiango FC's zone, Alejandro Cevallo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Borja Illera came out of the goal and Alejandro Cevallo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Borja Illera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Antoñana in the 67th minute of the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Alejandro Cevallo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Posito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Cevallo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arboleda Urdaneta got free with Flavio Garray in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Posito FC fully deserved thier win.
