In the 6th match minute, Tangaiche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Palacios Araña to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Vidanes in the 10th minute of play forced Tangaiche's goalkeeper Alvarez Puebla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Saga kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Emilio Remiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Palacios Araña showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Humberto Vidanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Gutarrate struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Emilio Remiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tangaiche. Palacios Araña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Remiro having to interfere. If Martin Gutarrate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, UD Flores's goal looked a bit too open when Palacios Araña came free, but Emilio Remiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th match minute, UD Flores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Weterio Marina to maneuver through the defense. UD Flores's Emilio Remiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save UD Flores from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Palacios Araña to strike the kick off in the second half. Palacios Araña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Xesus Barnuevo came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the UD Flores fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xesus Barnuevo couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in UD Flores's zone, Palacios Araña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Remiro came out of the goal and Palacios Araña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Humberto Vidanes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvarez Puebla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute UD Flores were awarded a corner. Humberto Saga went to the cornerflag to take it. Sandro Tome was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The attack was good, but when Humberto Vidanes in the 86th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 87 minutes, Ovidio Castrillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tangaiche and the UD Flores players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute, Ovidio Castrillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Xesus Barnuevo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Julio Ayllon made a precise shot to the right of Emilio Remiro. UD Flores's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tangaiche had won after a very even match.
