The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Macias Monelo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Macias Monelo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Panero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. When Antonio Garagorri fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Ajigual's protests and gave Antonio Garagorri a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th match minute, CD Ajigual was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Garagorri to maneuver through the defense. Quiróz Gordon charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quiróz Gordon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aragón Guitian spun around in front of the goal 34 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of CD Esperanza's goal. Aragón Guitian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Panero having to interfere. Roberto Panero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aragón Guitian, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Geovanny Echeguren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Esperanza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovanny Echeguren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zabal Casuso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanny Echeguren, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half CD Esperanza were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Macias Monelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Aragón Guitian put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Roberto Panero. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aragón Guitian in the 68th minute of play forced CD Esperanza's goalkeeper Roberto Panero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Aragón Guitian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Roberto Panero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 78 minutes into the game, CD Ajigual's Macias Monelo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roberto Panero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 90th minute, Aragón Guitian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roberto Panero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Macias Monelo in the 92nd minute of play. After 92 minutes, Sánchez Anievas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Esperanza and the CD Ajigual players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to CD Esperanza getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Sánchez Anievas hit a great ball. CD Ajigual's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
