Santos Jaramillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neicer Nicolas having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Inganilla FC got a freekick which was hit by Costante Alonzo. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 22nd minute, but Neicer Nicolas got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Inganilla FC hanging dry this time. After a rather tough play, Inganilla FC's González Abraldez got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Hernandez Ariza kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When Inganilla FC's Tonio Cabrerizo in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Quintana Fortis kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The corner led UD Macas's Roger Ledesma to fire away a dangerous shot which Neicer Nicolas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

55 minutes into the match, Tonio Cabrerizo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of UD Macas's Xepe Juan. Xepe Juan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Xosepe Regil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Neicer Nicolas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee ordered Borja Sanches off the ground. Borja Sanches hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the game, Roger Ledesma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Macas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inganilla FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of UD Macas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Inganilla FC:s goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Asencio Carrillos got free with Xepe Juan in the 99th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Inganilla FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Inganilla FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
