When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Leon Agudiez took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Zavior Valdecañas to make any attempt to save it. Xalvador Losa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zavior Valdecañas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xalvador Losa in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Algarrobos FC's Ortíz Irigoras nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orlando Villamandos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Vidal Isla charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vidal Isla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Algarrobos FC booed when UD Zueylan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vidal Isla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlando Villamandos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Olloa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xalvador Losa in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zavior Valdecañas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 61 played minutes UD Zueylan got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Tizon. After a defensive mix-up in UD Zueylan's zone, Ortíz Irigoras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Villamandos came out of the goal and Ortíz Irigoras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ortíz Irigoras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Orlando Villamandos made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Domingo during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A very good chance.
