Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Camilo Cardigondi started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camilo Cardigondi in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xavion Ilarraza saved Tinoco FC from getting behind. The supporters of Tinoco FC booed when CD Masquera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Ygnacio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Abel Ygnacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, CD Masquera's Camilo Cardigondi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xavion Ilarraza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rogelio Giumill hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Tinoco FC's Xavion Ilarraza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Cardigondi in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Héctor Ballina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Masquera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tinoco FC the free kick. Alejandro Armiñan came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Javier Carrios could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oso Gamones in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Carrios prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oswaldo Soldevila charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oswaldo Soldevila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to CD Masquera getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Oswaldo Soldevila hit a great ball. After 27 minutes, Teo Saens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tinoco FC and the CD Masquera players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tinoco FC! In the 28th minute there was a penalty for CD Masquera. Hector Ibarzabal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Xavion Ilarraza. 0-1. 31 minutes into the match, Abel Ygnacio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Tinoco FC's Xavion Ilarraza. Xavion Ilarraza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th minute Camilo Cardigondi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavion Ilarraza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes, CD Masquera's Bolívar Victorero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Xavion Ilarraza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CD Masquera reached it. After 43 played minutes CD Masquera got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Quejo. After a defensive mix-up in CD Masquera's zone, Oso Gamones stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Carrios came out of the goal and Oso Gamones tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The wind increased when Oso Gamones made the kick off in the second half. Tinoco FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Camilo Cardigondi scored to the left of an out of position Xavion Ilarraza, making the score, 0-3. Xavion Ilarraza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Ygnacio in the 58th minute of the match. Javier Carrios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oso Gamones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alejandro Armiñan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 68 minutes into the match, CD Masquera's goal looked a bit too open when Oso Gamones came free, but Javier Carrios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Javier Carrios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oso Gamones in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Tinoco FC's Alejandro Armiñan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Javier Carrios narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 73 minutes of play, Tinoco FC's Alejandro Armiñan made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Javier Carrios was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alejandro Armiñan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Carrios having to interfere. CD Masquera's Oswaldo Soldevila got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Oswaldo Soldevila off the ground. After a rather tough play, CD Masquera's Oswaldo Soldevila got a free kick in the 78th minute. After having played for 79 minutes, Oso Gamones managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tinoco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oso Gamones was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oso Gamones in the 81st minute of play forced CD Masquera's goalkeeper Javier Carrios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oso Gamones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Carrios having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Oso Gamones ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier Carrios was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Oso Gamones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CD Masquera walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
