The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gonzalo Afonte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xacintu Parandones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Xacintu Parandones, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 12 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gonzalo Afonte was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Jaramillo booed when Tipococha SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xusto Bricianos didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Jaramillo getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Rodríguez Pola hit a great ball. Tipococha SC's Eugenio Peciña couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Jaramillo. In the 24th minute, Ismael Pereta fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tyrone Susvilla, passed just outside the right post. In the 47th minute, Vergaray Montez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ismael Pereta to make the kick off. Sergio Baldaliso kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Ismael Pereta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyrone Susvilla having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Coyette Avendaño during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tipococha SC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Coyette Avendaño hit a great ball. Villegas Lebron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xacintu Parandones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 73 played minutes, Tipococha SC's Virila Puente shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tyrone Susvilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tipococha SC reached it. The supporters of Tipococha SC booed when Jaramillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Villegas Lebron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xacintu Parandones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Afonte having to interfere. Tyrone Susvilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vergaray Montez in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Xacintu Parandones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Pereta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyrone Susvilla having to interfere. Jaramillo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
