After having played for 14 minutes, Zuhaitz Bergues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galpan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zuhaitz Bergues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angel Aribau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Xan Gallinar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Cabero in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zambrano Gonzalo saved Galpan FC from getting behind. UD Leona's Aguinaga Quindos got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute Zuhaitz Bergues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xan Gallinar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zuhaitz Bergues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Xan Gallinar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Leona's goalkeeper Xan Gallinar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maximo Galera's late challenge caught a Galpan FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximo Galera helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Galpan FC booed when UD Leona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Galera didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Angel Aribau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xan Gallinar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The UD Leona players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Galpan FC were winning 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Cabero in the 51st minute of play forced Galpan FC's goalkeeper Zambrano Gonzalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zuhaitz Bergues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xan Gallinar having to interfere. Maximo Galera was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 55th match minute, UD Leona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Galera to maneuver through the defense. When Aguinaga Quindos came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the UD Leona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aguinaga Quindos couldn't finish the play. Zuhaitz Bergues charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zuhaitz Bergues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, Zuhaitz Bergues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aguinaga Quindos in the 63rd minute of play forced Galpan FC's goalkeeper Zambrano Gonzalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The UD Leona supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Galpan FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Galpan FC.
