A collision led to Ishpingo FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Xusto Gavilanes hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Tachel's Danilo Echaitia tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 13th match minute, Ishpingo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xusto Gavilanes to maneuver through the defense. Tachel's Marcos Bacon got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tachel's goalkeeper Vimaro Onez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Tachel getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Xamo Somellera hit a great ball. Marcos Bacon charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Bacon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zumar Pereda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Villagra Abancens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Vimaro Onez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Baños, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Tachel's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Demetrio Chimeno fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 34 minutes, Rene Beltran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ishpingo FC and the Tachel players grew even worse after the yellow card. Villagra Abancens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Bacon in the 40th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Javier Baños got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vimaro Onez made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Demetrio Chimeno sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Javier Baños was the one to do the kick off. Demetrio Chimeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Vimaro Onez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Zernin Lizano came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Tachel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zernin Lizano couldn't finish the play. If Demetrio Chimeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Villagra Abancens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Bacon in the 62nd minute of the match. Zernin Lizano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Villagra Abancens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Bacon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Demetrio Chimeno scored 2-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vimaro Onez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ishpingo FC had won after a very even match.
