Reyes Landeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zoil Benagassi having to interfere. Zoil Benagassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Corullon, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Vimaro Barria's late challenge caught a UD Ana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vimaro Barria helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th match minute, Mihuanoyacu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vimaro Barria to maneuver through the defense. When Mihuanoyacu's Ugutz Iturrate in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UD Ana's goalie prevented a goal. Manuel Velazco hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute of the match Sebastian Candia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adrian Pavieta skillfully saved the ball. When Checa Sorriva came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Mihuanoyacu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Checa Sorriva couldn't finish the play. Checa Sorriva scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adrian Pavieta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the game, Ugutz Iturrate cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Adrian Pavieta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The UD Ana players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mihuanoyacu were winning 0-2.

Checa Sorriva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 53 minutes into the game, Reyes Landeta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Ana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mihuanoyacu the free kick. The supporters of Mihuanoyacu booed when UD Ana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reyes Landeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauricio Camerin hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Adrian Pavieta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ugutz Iturrate's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Mihuanoyacu's Ugutz Iturrate slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adrian Pavieta. That made the score 0-3 after 59 minutes of play. Mihuanoyacu's Zoil Benagassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reyes Landeta in the 70th minute of play. After 73 minutes of play UD Ana's Mauricio Camerin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ugutz Iturrate struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Adrian Pavieta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mihuanoyacu. Adrian Pavieta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ugutz Iturrate in the 77th minute of the match. Checa Sorriva struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Adrian Pavieta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mihuanoyacu. In the 80th minute, Checa Sorriva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mihuanoyacu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Vimaro Barria kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Mihuanoyacu got a freekick which was hit by Vimaro Barria. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mihuanoyacu walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
