Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rodrigo Iruleta started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Pablo Potes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Valsera having to interfere. Augusto Dimas succeeded in the game's 13th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Alvaro Cavite's late challenge caught a Trinidad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvaro Cavite helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Trinidad booed when Dircay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Cavite didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Rodrigo Iruleta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Trinidad's Rodrigo Iruleta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raul Valsera. That made the score 1-1 after 22 minutes of play. Dircay's Raul Valsera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Iruleta in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match Roque Ceraso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vernaza Espinola showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Dimas in the 31st minute of play forced Trinidad's goalkeeper Vernaza Espinola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trivniño Garizabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Natos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trinidad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dircay the free kick. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Trinidad! In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Dircay. Jose-Antonio Soldevila stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vernaza Espinola. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Dimas made a kick off. Vernaza Espinola stood somewhat misplaced when Augusto Dimas came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 52 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Iruleta in the 57th minute of play forced Dircay's goalkeeper Raul Valsera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Ontavilla kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Trinidad's goalkeeper Vernaza Espinola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Trivniño Garizabal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Trivniño Garizabal got free with Vernaza Espinola in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Krikorian Vallino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trinidad's supporters rose to their feet, but Krikorian Vallino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Valsera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Trivniño Garizabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes, Krikorian Vallino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trinidad and the Dircay players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Augusto Dimas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Dimas in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vernaza Espinola saved Trinidad from getting behind. Dircay's Raul Valsera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Iruleta in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Pablo Potes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trinidad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dircay walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
