UD Inganilla's Eduardo Callergos was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 22nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 26 minutes of play, Violeta SC's Ivan Reguilon made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luis-Antonio Lizaur was left in no man's land by his defense there! Virgilio Andrino hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivan Reguilon was the one to do the kick off. When Ambrossi Antequera came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Violeta SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ambrossi Antequera couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, UD Inganilla's Rocio Archuleta got a free kick in the 56th minute. Ambrossi Antequera ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Inganilla's goalkeeper Luis-Antonio Lizaur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivan Reguilon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Luis-Antonio Lizaur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Violeta SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for UD Inganilla.
