In the 24thth minute of the game Ramirez Zulaica who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Banipe's Arnoldo Almandoz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Armando Nanclares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Garrido Espinola came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the CD Banipe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garrido Espinola couldn't finish the play. Barros Angeles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Urbasa Gallegos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barros Angeles to strike the kick off in the second half. Calicante's Urbasa Gallegos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barros Angeles in the 53rd minute of play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Banipe's goalkeeper Arnoldo Almandoz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Barros Angeles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbasa Gallegos having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Calicante's goal looked a bit too open when Garrido Espinola came free, but Urbasa Gallegos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 played minutes Calicante got a freekick which was hit by Xose Malet. Garrido Espinola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Barros Angeles managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Banipe's supporters rose to their feet, but Barros Angeles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urbasa Gallegos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Nanclares in the 77th minute of play forced CD Banipe's goalkeeper Arnoldo Almandoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ramirez Zulaica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in CD Banipe's zone, Armando Nanclares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Almandoz came out of the goal and Armando Nanclares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Calicante defense, Garrido Espinola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Urbasa Gallegos. The Calicante fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urbasa Gallegos should have stopped the shot. When Calicante's Armando Nanclares in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Banipe's goalie prevented a goal. Armando Nanclares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Arnoldo Almandoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
