Caicedo Benedid kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Agustín Mora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Luzuriaga Zalaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cahuasqui's zone, Zeru Ebro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luzuriaga Zalaya came out of the goal and Zeru Ebro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roris Gurendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernández Bonet having to interfere. Cangahua FC's Fernández Bonet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borja Cuezba in the 33rd minute of play. Torres Vallearena kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Fernández Bonet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borja Cuezba, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. When Cahuasqui's Borja Cuezba in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Luzuriaga Zalaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roldan Cantabrana in the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Mora in the 53rd minute of play forced Cahuasqui's goalkeeper Luzuriaga Zalaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roris Gurendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernández Bonet having to interfere. Roris Gurendes came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fernández Bonet could save by the left post. In the 60th minute, Zeru Ebro made a precise shot to the right of Luzuriaga Zalaya. Cahuasqui's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 66th minute, Mellington Gayoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Borja Cuezba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Xuoco Rino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Canido was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 87 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, one of Cangahua FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cangahua FC. The goalkeeper, Fernández Bonet, was totally fooled by Cahuasqui's Cristian Resines, who 89 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Roris Gurendes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Fernández Bonet made a huge save. Agustín Mora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luzuriaga Zalaya having to interfere.
