The supporters of Pucala FC booed when UD Jatishapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urtats Catalan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Gonzalo Gobeo could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Marcos Viciola however easily saved by the left post. When Gonzalo Gobeo came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the UD Jatishapa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Gobeo couldn't finish the play. Urtats Catalan struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Marcos Viciola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Jatishapa. Emanuel Analla's late challenge caught a UD Jatishapa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Analla helped the player get up and apologised. Emanuel Analla hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Jonatan Acenero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaviedes Gonzalo in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of UD Jatishapa booed when Pucala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zosimo Cagigal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaviedes Gonzalo might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonatan Acenero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kaviedes Gonzalo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Kaviedes Gonzalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leonardo Villaboa kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Pucala FC's Fernando Cubilla couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for UD Jatishapa. In the 39th minute, Urtats Catalan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. UD Jatishapa's Urtats Catalan got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Pucala FC's Marcos Viciola got control of the ball when Gonzalo Gobeo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gonzalo Gobeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Marcos Viciola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Pablo Iñigo charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pablo Iñigo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pablo Iñigo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Urtats Catalan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Viciola having to interfere. After 58 minutes of play, UD Jatishapa's Gonzalo Gobeo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Viciola was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ulizes Toresano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Kaviedes Gonzalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pucala FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaviedes Gonzalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonatan Acenero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pucala FC's Ulizes Toresano managed to work through UD Jatishapa's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ulizes Toresano dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 68th match minute, UD Jatishapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perlaza Verdesoto to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute of the match Fernando Cubilla shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonatan Acenero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kaviedes Gonzalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulizes Toresano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jonatan Acenero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee ignored UD Jatishapa's protests and gave Xelo Sagrario a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, UD Jatishapa's Xelo Sagrario got a free kick in the 91st minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The UD Jatishapa fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pucala FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
