Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hernández Cotillo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandro Montane got free with Paco Cayado in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ortíz Casoliva took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adolfo Querejeta. Adolfo Querejeta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Adolfo Querejeta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernández Cotillo in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Raul Sator had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adolfo Querejeta. CD Tulcan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raul Sator was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Paco Cayado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Rapino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernández Cotillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Querejeta having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, CD Tulcan's goal looked a bit too open when Ortíz Casoliva came free, but Adolfo Querejeta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Hernández Cotillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Querejeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolfo Querejeta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ortíz Casoliva's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Hernández Cotillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adolfo Querejeta. CD Tulcan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hernández Cotillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 45th minute, Caicedo Carranceja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaias Rapino was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Montane in the 51st minute of play forced Conejeros SC's goalkeeper Paco Cayado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of CD Tulcan booed when Conejeros SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xano Ribeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute Isaias Rapino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paco Cayado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hernández Cotillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Conejeros SC's Ortíz Casoliva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adolfo Querejeta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hernández Cotillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Querejeta having to interfere. CD Tulcan's Adolfo Querejeta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save CD Tulcan from getting a goal against them. Ortíz Casoliva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Adolfo Querejeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to CD Tulcan getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Caicedo Carranceja hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernández Cotillo in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adolfo Querejeta saved CD Tulcan from getting behind. In the 75th minute, Isaias Rapino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Sandro Montane managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Tulcan's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Montane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paco Cayado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sandro Montane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paco Cayado having to interfere. Sandro Montane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 minutes of play, CD Tulcan's Isaias Rapino made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paco Cayado was left in no man's land by his defense there! The CD Tulcan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Conejeros SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
