Paco Cayado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arévalo Lagunas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paco Cayado having to interfere. Paco Cayado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arévalo Lagunas in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Urtzi Cerbera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Cochapata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Conejeros SC the free kick. A collision led to UD Cochapata getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Urtzi Cerbera hit a great ball. Hernández Cotillo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. When Hernández Cotillo got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Conejeros SC. After having played for 39 minutes, Ortíz Casoliva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Conejeros SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ortíz Casoliva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sotomayor Estremiana kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Ortíz Casoliva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Miñano having to interfere. After 47 minutes of play, Conejeros SC's Ortíz Casoliva made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignacio Miñano was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Ortíz Casoliva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignacio Miñano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ortíz Casoliva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Hernández Cotillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignacio Miñano was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Paco Cayado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Azconzábal Cubero in the 64th minute of the match. When Sotomayor Estremiana fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Cochapata's protests and gave Sotomayor Estremiana a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to UD Cochapata getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Conejeros SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ortíz Casoliva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignacio Miñano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Arévalo Lagunas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paco Cayado. That made the score 1-1 in the 82 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arévalo Lagunas got free with Paco Cayado in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 90 played minutes UD Cochapata got a freekick which was hit by Urritz Alacan. After a rather tough play, Conejeros SC's Geovanni Liaño got a free kick in the 96th minute.
