The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xavian Santayana helped the player get up and apologised. Xavian Santayana hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Lopez Val received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xzavion Torre came out and tried to block the shot, but Lopez Val slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Alejandro Janez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patuco's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Janez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xzavion Torre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xavian Santayana got his second yellow card in the match during the 13th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 14th minute, Xavian Santayana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alejandro Janez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejandro Janez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xzavion Torre having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Patuco's Lopez Val sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xzavion Torre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 22 played minutes UD Bahia got a freekick which was hit by Edson Loaces. After 23 minutes, Alejandro Janez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patuco and the UD Bahia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alejandro Janez hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Lopez Val fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xzavion Torre having to interfere. If Xesus Guiza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Patuco getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Macias Arias hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Patuco's zone, Xesus Guiza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Oropeza came out of the goal and Xesus Guiza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Xaiver Nebot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Bahia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xaiver Nebot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lopez Val was the one to do the kick off. The Patuco fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Patuco's Lopez Val looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Xesus Guiza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Armando Oropeza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 68 minutes, Alejandro Janez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patuco's Armando Oropeza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Patuco from getting a goal against them. Xesus Guiza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alejandro Janez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Many of UD Bahia's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. UD Bahia may have spent more time on the ball, but Patuco were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
