Sergio Carda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Gestoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmundo Herquinigo hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Urtsua Gandulla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergio Carda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xesus Balza during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Xesus Balza hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 21st match minute, Cayambe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xesus Balza to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute of the match Benjamin Barrieta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luis Concellon skillfully saved the ball. Luis Concellon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arias Suazo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Arias Suazo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th match minute, Cayambe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Folgar to maneuver through the defense. Luis Concellon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arias Suazo in the 31st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Arias Suazo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Concellon was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Alvaro Gestoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luis Concellon was a little too slow when González Gos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-1. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Sergio Carda made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Alvaro Gestoso sent off a good shot on target. 54 minutes into the match, Redin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Gestoso came free, but Sergio Carda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 58 minutes on the clock, Vincent Lamarta commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 57th minute, one of Redin FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Redin FC. The goalkeeper, Sergio Carda, was totally fooled by Cayambe's Nicolás Tagle, who 60 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If González Gos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. González Gos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute of the match Vela Soriano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sergio Carda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Redin FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Urtsua Gandulla scored to the left of an out of position Sergio Carda, making the score, 1-3. 79 minutes into the game, Cayambe's Alvaro Gestoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sergio Carda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. In the 85th play minute Alvaro Gestoso came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sergio Carda. 1-5. Xesus Balza kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Vela Soriano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 96 minutes into the match.
