Carlos Terjida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Guerrón Perucho made a huge save. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pomarosa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ayoví Cañon was slow to take the kick. During this time Archiras's players had a chance to rest. Ayoví Cañon made a great header on Archiras's corner, it was just that Pomarosa's Guerrón Perucho managed to reach the ball for a save. 22 minutes into the match, Archiras's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Cillero came free, but Cristobal Belarrinaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Joaquin Cillero made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Archiras got a freekick which was hit by Poroso Megid. Geovanni Deleyto kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Carlos Terjida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Archiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Terjida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guerrón Perucho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flavio Romo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guerrón Perucho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play.
