The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Costante Coco kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Chinchi SC's goal looked a bit too open when Xosepe Olaiz came free, but Montalvo Pañeda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montalvo Pañeda made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Ximen Galli sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the match, Chinchi SC's goalkeeper Montalvo Pañeda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ximen Galli. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tercero Cedron in the 17th minute of play forced Loyala SC's goalkeeper Machado Acevez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Montalvo Pañeda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xosepe Olaiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 played minutes Chinchi SC got a freekick which was hit by Costante Coco. Neicer Alamea struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Machado Acevez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chinchi SC. Tercero Cedron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Loyala SC's Xosepe Olaiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Montalvo Pañeda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Xosepe Olaiz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 44th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ximen Galli in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Montalvo Pañeda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xosepe Olaiz was the one to do the kick off. In the 64thth minute of the game Xosepe Olaiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chinchi SC's Montalvo Pañeda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Costante Coco charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Costante Coco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Loyala SC booed when Chinchi SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costante Coco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 minutes, Morales Retortillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Loyala SC and the Chinchi SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Loyala SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morales Retortillo to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Loyala SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! After a defensive mix-up in Chinchi SC's zone, Ximen Galli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Montalvo Pañeda came out of the goal and Ximen Galli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morales Retortillo in the 81st minute of play forced Chinchi SC's goalkeeper Montalvo Pañeda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Machado Acevez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tercero Cedron, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute of the match Chinchi SC got a corner. Loyala SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Diaz Tornero ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chinchi SC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
