Uriel Pinedo started the match with the kick off. Gonzales Berrueta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Lorden having to interfere. Pinas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Carmelita the free kick. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Silvio Dimas sped through Pinas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Venceslas Villornate. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Zorion Garro put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jesus Lorden. After 31 played minutes, UD Carmelita's Bruno Alesanco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Venceslas Villornate came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UD Carmelita reached it. Pinas's Venceslas Villornate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Pinedo in the 34th minute of play. Silvio Dimas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Tomas Laurenciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zorion Garro charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zorion Garro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of UD Carmelita booed when Pinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zorion Garro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Bruno Alesanco from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Venceslas Villornate's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonzales Berrueta to strike the kick off in the second half. Pinas's Gonzales Berrueta got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernando Telleria hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If Gonzales Berrueta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Uriel Pinedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Carmelita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Pinas's Venceslas Villornate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Dimas in the 69th minute of play. Gonzales Berrueta struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Jesus Lorden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinas. After having played for 87 minutes, Silvio Dimas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Carmelita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvio Dimas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th play minute Gonzales Berrueta came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jesus Lorden. 3-3.
