Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zorion Garro started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Gonzales Berrueta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Camilo Rujido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tumbaco's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Rujido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Venceslas Villornate breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tumbaco's Yoel Anguciana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zorion Garro in the 7th minute of play. Gonzales Berrueta's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Yoel Anguciana firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Tumbaco's Montalvo Pelegrina got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Gonzales Berrueta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zorion Garro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 21 played minutes Tumbaco got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Rujido. Venceslas Villornate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Rujido in the 24th minute of the match. Zorion Garro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yoel Anguciana came out and tried to block the shot, but Zorion Garro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 28th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tumbaco's zone, Zorion Garro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yoel Anguciana came out of the goal and Zorion Garro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute Ricardo Dosal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venceslas Villornate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tumbaco's Camilo Rujido got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Ricardo Dosal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tumbaco's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Dosal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Venceslas Villornate breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute Ricardo Dosal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venceslas Villornate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ricardo Dosal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Pinas's Tomas Laurenciano seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tomas Laurenciano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pinas protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tomas Laurenciano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pinas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Gonzales Berrueta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the game, Gavica Goxenola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Yoel Anguciana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zacarias Valdivielso charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zacarias Valdivielso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th match minute, Tumbaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Valdivielso to maneuver through the defense. When Gonzales Berrueta came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Pinas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzales Berrueta couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Gonzales Berrueta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinas's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonzales Berrueta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yoel Anguciana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Venceslas Villornate made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Dosal in the 73rd minute. Pinas's Venceslas Villornate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Rujido in the 85th minute of play. Camilo Rujido's late challenge caught a Pinas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Rujido helped the player get up and apologised. Ricardo Dosal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute, Ricardo Dosal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 98 minutes into the match, Pinas's goalkeeper Venceslas Villornate had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Dosal. Gonzales Berrueta scored 3-2 in the 100th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yoel Anguciana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pinas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tumbaco had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
