Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when David Vielva took the kick off in the first half of the match. David Vielva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 5 played minutes Monoacana SC got a freekick which was hit by Cortez Londoño. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, David Vielva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zhiquir SC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Vielva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arévalo Padolles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zhiquir SC's David Vielva got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Esterilla Cardigondi fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zhiquir SC's protests and gave Esterilla Cardigondi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Zhiquir SC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Esterilla Cardigondi hit a great ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Lopez Vera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monoacana SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lopez Vera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hector Acevez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arévalo Padolles. Monoacana SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lopez Vera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venerando Loyas having to interfere. Venerando Loyas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lopez Vera, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The supporters of Monoacana SC booed when Zhiquir SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Castañondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venerando Loyas was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Graziani Pato. Monoacana SC's Arévalo Padolles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xever Saenz in the 28th minute of play. Venerando Loyas made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Norberto Borges sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Zhiquir SC's Venerando Loyas got control of the ball when Norberto Borges tried to sneak it across the goal line. Norberto Borges made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 33rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Venerando Loyas would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 34th minute, Hector Acevez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arévalo Padolles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Vielva in the 38th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norberto Borges got free with Venerando Loyas in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, David Vielva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zhiquir SC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Vielva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arévalo Padolles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lopez Vera to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Norberto Borges had to leave the field with a concussion. In the 52nd minute, Francisco Cabañero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lopez Vera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute Zayveon Leyte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venerando Loyas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alejandro Cisquella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Venerando Loyas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xever Saenz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arévalo Padolles having to interfere. When Rodney Guedella came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Zhiquir SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodney Guedella couldn't finish the play. In the 64th match minute, Monoacana SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonso Gos to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Xever Saenz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Monoacana SC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Zayveon Leyte hit a great ball. Zhiquir SC's Venerando Loyas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lopez Vera in the 70th minute of play. Lopez Vera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 minutes of play, Monoacana SC's Lopez Vera made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Venerando Loyas was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 90 played minutes Monoacana SC got a freekick which was hit by Zayvion Secadura. 97 minutes into the match, Xever Saenz notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Monoacana SC's Arévalo Padolles. Arévalo Padolles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zhiquir SC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
