Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Huachi's Unax Casados started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Xesus Quexada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Brau having to interfere. 4 minutes into the match, Huachi's goal looked a bit too open when Gómez Gil came free, but Eduardo Brau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th match minute, Huachi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cumbicus Buison to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Ahumada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Ahumada might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eduardo Brau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Ahumada ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ledesma Villascuerna during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of UD Mataglo booed when Huachi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ledesma Villascuerna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Callejo, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 16th minute, Yépez Aviles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roque Carballo shot a long shot in the 17th minute and a light blocked Ramos Ayllon hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-0. During the 22nd minute of the match Ledesma Villascuerna completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ledesma Villascuerna a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of UD Mataglo booed when Huachi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ledesma Villascuerna didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Huachi's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Ahumada came free, but Eduardo Brau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Erazo in the 26th minute of play forced Huachi's goalkeeper Eduardo Brau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Brau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Erazo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octavio Pumares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ramos Ayllon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Gómez Gil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Mataglo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodoro Erazo in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduardo Brau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teodoro Erazo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Ahumada stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Esteban Arriola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Huachi's zone, Teodoro Erazo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Brau came out of the goal and Teodoro Erazo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th match minute, Huachi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Unax Casados to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Huachi's goalkeeper Eduardo Brau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 73rd match minute, UD Mataglo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Velasco Somovilla to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 76 minutes, Octavio Pumares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huachi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavio Pumares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Ahumada struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Eduardo Brau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Mataglo. Octavio Pumares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramos Ayllon having to interfere. In the 95th minute of the match Yépez Aviles sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eduardo Brau skillfully saved the ball. When Huachi's Octavio Pumares in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UD Mataglo's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched UD Mataglo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
