UD Quimiac's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Situchi the free kick. The supporters of Situchi booed when UD Quimiac was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xabat Resamano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genaro Sevane didn't quite understand what happened when in the 42 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

UD Quimiac's Zumar Muela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save UD Quimiac from getting a goal against them. Paolo Santamaria took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zumar Muela. Zumar Muela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 62 minutes into the game, Trivniño Carral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
