When Jerson Sanez fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Xantalen Gimenez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ubarna Andres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Consumulo SC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Xzaiver Lebon hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Alberto Fontao had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Iturbide. Guallupi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Fontao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Gabriel Iturbide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viator Madrigal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ubarna Andres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xantalen Gimenez in the 46th minute of the match. With a little luck, Consumulo SC's Ubarna Andres got control of the ball when Alvarez Varaona tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xantalen Gimenez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Guallupi's Alvarez Varaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ubarna Andres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gabriel Iturbide made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Viator Madrigal sent off a good shot on target. Mauricio Chica hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Enrico Titos fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guallupi's protests and gave Enrico Titos a yellow card for diving instead. If Alberto Fontao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute.
