In the 21st minute Xusto Torto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zuberoa Valderramal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zuberoa Valderramal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xusto Torto in the 23rd minute of the match. CD Yambaqui's Pablo Severino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save CD Yambaqui from getting a goal against them. The supporters of UD Pugacho booed when CD Yambaqui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Eguia didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yader Araico got free with Pablo Severino in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Yader Araico got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When UD Pugacho's Iván Mendaza in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Yambaqui's goalie prevented a goal. 42 minutes into the match, UD Pugacho's goal looked a bit too open when Xusto Torto came free, but Zuberoa Valderramal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. UD Pugacho's Zuberoa Valderramal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xerardo Carrasquedo in the 43rd minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iván Mendaza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iván Mendaza took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pablo Severino. Pablo Severino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 57th minute, Iván Mendaza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pablo Severino was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Xerardo Carrasquedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xusto Torto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 69th playminute. 72 minutes into the match, UD Pugacho's goal looked a bit too open when Xusto Torto came free, but Zuberoa Valderramal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Xusto Torto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zuberoa Valderramal. That made the score 2-2 in the 73 minute of play. Xusto Torto struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Zuberoa Valderramal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Yambaqui. Zuberoa Valderramal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xerardo Carrasquedo in the 87th minute. The CD Yambaqui players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented UD Pugacho from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
