With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aires Rancel in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viator Sagredo saved Ilinpoa FC from getting behind. When Ysmael Tortoles, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 5 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Viator Sagredo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanny Aquino in the 6th minute of play forced UD Rompido's goalkeeper Silvio Robires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Ilinpoa FC defense, Ysmael Tortoles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viator Sagredo. The Ilinpoa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viator Sagredo should have stopped the shot. Geovanny Aquino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Silvio Robires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Ysmael Tortoles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viator Sagredo. Ilinpoa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ysmael Tortoles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. UD Rompido's Silvio Robires proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save UD Rompido from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Rompido's goalkeeper Silvio Robires, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Geovanny Aquino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Canelas hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Viator Sagredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ysmael Tortoles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santos Albaratay charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santos Albaratay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Santos Albaratay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvio Robires acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Adolfo Lamboy. Geovanny Aquino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvio Robires was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Geovanny Aquino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Geovanny Aquino really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geovanny Aquino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, UD Rompido's goal looked a bit too open when Poroso Guion came free, but Silvio Robires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When UD Rompido's Ysmael Tortoles in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Aires Rancel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, UD Rompido's goal looked a bit too open when Poroso Guion came free, but Silvio Robires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Poroso Guion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Robires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, UD Rompido's Villafuerte Baptista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viator Sagredo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Santos Albaratay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvio Robires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Poroso Guion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
