With an all-out effort, Mundoleo's Desiderio Presedo threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Augusto Velaz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mundoleo's Augusto Velaz got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Minda Mogoruza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Garrido Vera during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Garrido Vera hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Estrada Herro got free with Cántaro Cillero in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, Juan Gabaldon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Desiderio Presedo. Chaquino SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Gabaldon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 81 minutes, Estrada Herro made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Mundoleo's Cántaro Cillero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Desiderio Presedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Minda Mogoruza, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After a rather tough play, Chaquino SC's Garrido Vera got a free kick in the 96th minute. Although Mundoleo had been in control for most of the match, Chaquino SC still came away with the win.
