When Juan Gabaldon came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Mundoleo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Gabaldon couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Velaz in the 9th minute of play forced Ilinpoa FC's goalkeeper Viator Sagredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Poroso Guion kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 11thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Mundoleo's keeper Cántaro Cillero was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 12th minute, Angel Vizcarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geovanny Aquino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cántaro Cillero having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Canelas got free with Cántaro Cillero in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Poroso Guion struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Cántaro Cillero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ilinpoa FC. Mundoleo's Augusto Velaz got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25thth minute of the game Minda Mogoruza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ilinpoa FC's Viator Sagredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Augusto Velaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Viator Sagredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cántaro Cillero was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Poroso Guion capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Poroso Guion really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Augusto Velaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernandez Othaz's late challenge caught a Mundoleo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernandez Othaz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ilinpoa FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Hernandez Othaz hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 58 minutes into the game, when Juan-Alfredo Traveso put in a rough tackle. In the 57th minute, one of Mundoleo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mundoleo. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Ilinpoa FC. Adolfo Lamboy stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cántaro Cillero. 2-0. Mundoleo's Cántaro Cillero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Poroso Guion in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 65 minutes, Poroso Guion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ilinpoa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Poroso Guion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Geovanny Aquino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovanny Aquino took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cántaro Cillero. Cántaro Cillero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. A collision led to Mundoleo getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Juan Gabaldon hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ilinpoa FC had won after a very even match.
