Christobal Amor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Ortiz Salamanca kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Arzallos. That made the score 1-1 in the 9 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Montemayor during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 14 minutes into the game, one of Guangopolo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave UD Quiroz a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Samaniego Beteta, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Guangopolo FC's Christobal Amor. 1-2. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Ortiz Salamanca took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Manuel Arzallos to make any attempt to save it. After 27 played minutes Guangopolo FC got a freekick which was hit by Geovanny Abouza. Christobal Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Barbon in the 29th minute of the match. Campos Turiela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christobal Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Barbon, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Mario Doria succeeded in the game's 40th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. In the 47th minute, Geovanny Abouza had to leave the field with a concussion. A collision led to UD Quiroz getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Minda Ruiloba hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Doria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. UD Quiroz's Minda Ruiloba got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ortiz Salamanca during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Guangopolo FC's Ortiz Salamanca got a free kick in the 61st minute. A collision led to Guangopolo FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Vellito Lorencio hit a great ball. Samaniego Beteta was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Edmundo Esteban kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Manuel Arzallos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Campos Turiela, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Ortiz Salamanca was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Guangopolo FC's Ortiz Salamanca got a free kick in the 81st minute. Mario Doria struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Christobal Amor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Quiroz. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Campos Turiela during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes Guangopolo FC got a freekick which was hit by Campos Turiela. In the 85th match minute, UD Quiroz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Doria to maneuver through the defense. After 90 minutes Guangopolo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Samaniego Beteta who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on UD Quiroz's corner Uzuri Urdapileta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christobal Amor quite easily take care of the ball. Christobal Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Doria in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes in the game, Cornelio Barbon fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Christobal Amor having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, UD Quiroz's Mario Doria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christobal Amor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. UD Quiroz's Mario Doria got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. UD Quiroz walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
