The referee showed Fabio Herdozain the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabio Herdozain kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Kaviedes Miruena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Suárez Jimenez having to interfere. Suárez Jimenez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaviedes Miruena went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 19 minutes into the match, Elvis Garzon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Xian Castroverde, 1-1. In the 26th minute of the match, Inocencio Ugarte got a very nice opportunity to score, but Xian Castroverde was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Vachon Folgoso came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Sabaneta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vachon Folgoso couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Sabaneta getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Raul Patiño hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Elvis Garzon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jimbiquito SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvis Garzon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xian Castroverde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xian Castroverde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inocencio Ugarte in the 37th minute. Vachon Folgoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Suárez Jimenez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Vincente Lujo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Fabio Herdozain got his second yellow card in the match during the 43rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Sabaneta's Fabio Herdozain got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Inocencio Ugarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xian Castroverde having to interfere. A collision led to Jimbiquito SC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Edgar Cabanela hit a great ball. Suárez Jimenez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Patiño in the 55th minute of the match. Vachon Folgoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Suárez Jimenez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Sabaneta booed when Jimbiquito SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Goma didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th play minute Vachon Folgoso came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Suárez Jimenez. 1-2. Vachon Folgoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Suárez Jimenez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sabaneta's zone, Inocencio Ugarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xian Castroverde came out of the goal and Inocencio Ugarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elvis Garzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xian Castroverde having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, one of Sabaneta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Jimbiquito SC a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ortíz Espoa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sabaneta's Xian Castroverde. 2-2. In the 77th minute of the match, Vachon Folgoso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Suárez Jimenez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Inocencio Ugarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Edgar Cabanela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jimbiquito SC's Inocencio Ugarte got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute Pico Chirivoga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xian Castroverde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vachon Folgoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Suárez Jimenez made a huge save. Wellington Lanzon kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Inocencio Ugarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xian Castroverde having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
