After 25 minutes, Brito Larabiedra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sauco SC and the Osorio players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonatan Zabarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xavier Legorburu struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. In the 38th match minute, Osorio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morales Astozas to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Osorio's goalkeeper Fabricio Insausti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zarbonin Severino. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rene Hergueta to make the kick off. Osorio's Inocencio Fondos shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 52nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Xano Govantes but with some difficulty. Xavier Legorburu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. Osorio's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jonatan Zabarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Xano Govantes made a huge save. Xavier Legorburu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Xano Govantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xano Govantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Legorburu in the 63rd minute of the match. Sauco SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Hergueta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xano Govantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Legorburu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Sauco SC's zone, Xavier Legorburu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xano Govantes came out of the goal and Xavier Legorburu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Osorio walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
